Hi friends <3 I often yap about what to do on the new or full moons, but what about after a full moon has started to wane? It’s such a perfect time to further reflect.
A waning gibbous is the moon phase between a full moon and a half moon. The fullness and brightness of the full moon has begun to fade, but its illumination is still pretty grand- meaning lots of leftover lunar energy to harness on your manifestion journey.
If we work on releasing (bad habits, things that no longer align with our goals, etc) on the full moon, what do we do immediately after? The work doesn’t stop. Often times when we release ourselves from things (or things from us), it takes an emotional toll on us (especially when the things/people/habits are big ones!), so a reflection period to follow is a major self care that should not be overlooked.
My suggestion? Reflection yoga, deep meditation, or my fave: Journaling!
Here are some journal prompts for the current waning gibbous phase:
How am I feeling now that I’ve released __(insert thing you worked on releasing here)__?
List 5 things you’re grateful for and why.
How can I take care of myself today?
What are new habits I can work on forming to replace the ones I’ve worked on letting go of?
What boundaries do I need to put in place to reinforce my values?
Have I learned anything new during this past moon cycle?
Was anything reveled under this full moon? If so, how did it make me feel?
What are of my life, or relationship, needs attention/healing? (this can include your relationship with yourself)
Will you be trying any of these journal prompts? The moon will still be waning tonight and tomorrow before it’s officially a half moon.
Take your time with these. Always journal in a quiet, peaceful setting. And take care of yourself always <3
